what is the mission?
Circuit Riders
Circuit Riders is a YWAM global missions movement based out of Huntington Beach, California. What is our goal? To train and equip missionaries to bring the Gospel to the nations, and to our own backyard. We are inspiring a generation to reach our own age group and beyond. There is no junior Holy Spirit!
A year as a Circuit Rider staff is incredibly full! We have two six month DTS Programs (Discipleship Training Schools) that bring in one hundred to three hundred students during the fall and spring semester to train, equip, and send them out to reach those we are called to impact. This looks like doing tours across the United States, Europe, Africa, Asia, Latin America, and Australia. Our teams reach college and high school students, families, and those in poverty.
So why missions?
Matthew 28:19, “Therefore, go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit…”
Revelation 7:9, “After this I looked, and there before me was a great multitude that no one could count, from every nation, tribe, people and language, standing before the throne and before the Lamb…”
Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.
Isaiah 52:7, “How beautiful on the mountains are the feet of the messenger who brings good news of peace and salvation, the news that the God of Israel reigns!”
Luke 10:2, “He told them, ‘The harvest is plentiful, but the workers are few. Ask the Lord of the harvest, therefore, to send out workers into his harvest field.’”
We have been given a commission and mandate by Jesus to tell the world about what He has done!
There is a generation more lost, broken and hurting than we have ever seen before. They are searching for something, not knowing that Jesus has given everything that they might be one. He has desired them from the beginning of the world! They are the reward of His suffering!
How many do not know that the King of Kings has died for them? That Love was nailed to a tree?
This is why we do what we do. To see Jesus be glorified, people set free, made whole, and brought into the loving arms of the Father as they were always meant to be. Circuit Riders is furthering the movement of the Gospel across the globe, introducing people to Jesus; the love they’ve spent their whole lives searching for, and then teaching them to go and do the same.
What is my role?
My role as a full time staff member of Circuit Riders will look a little different year to year, but the mission stays the same; see the Gospel spread, Jesus made known, people saved and encountered, and to train them to go and do the same!
As a first year staff, I will be onboarding as a house leader or tour leader! I will be working with DTS students, discipling, planning college tours through the USA, and will be stewarding zealous students during one of the most impactful times of their lives. I was blessed with the most incredible house leaders during my DTS, so I am beyond excited to get to come back and give back everything I was given.
